Fearless first responders. Virtuoso chefs. Uncompromising educators. These are the kind of Arizonans who populate PHOENIX magazine's annual The Great 48 issue – and we need your help to find them! If you know someone suited for our across-the-board showcase of 48 fabulous Phoenicians, representing the best of business, politics, media, the arts, activism, medicine and more, use this nomination portal to help them get their due. They can be any age: Gen Zers, millennials, Gen Xers, Boomers... and we'd love to get a few Greatest Generation gems in the issue, too!
The Criteria:
• Candidates must live at least part of the year in Maricopa County.
• Our editors will favor nominees who have demonstrated extreme aptitude, or hold unusual promise, in their given field. Priority fields include teaching, nursing, entrepreneurism, the culinary arts, public service, philanthropy and activism.
• Candidates must be open to meeting their public at a Great 48 party this summer.
• Nominations must be submitted by Friday, February 21.
